Casey Paul Griffiths was a teacher and writer for Seminaries and Institutes of Religion when this was written. He holds a bachelor's degree in history, a master's degree in religious education, and a PhD in educational leadership and foundations from Brigham Young University. His research focuses mainly on Latter-day Saint education and religious thought. His publications have appeared in The Journal of Mormon History, BYU Studies, and the Religious Educator, among other scholarly publications. Originally from Delta, Utah, he is married to Elizabeth Ottley Griffiths. They are the parents of three children.
